AI-Driven Therapeutics (AIDT) is a deep tech/biotech startup from Leipzig, pioneering the CoScientist platform, an AI-powered agent that automates and democratizes protein design. By integrating large language models with specialized scientific tools, the CoScientist turns complex design workflows into transparent, modular, and user-friendly processes. It enables biotech and pharma SMEs to cut development cycles from years to a few months, without the need for in-house AI teams or costly infrastructure. Pilot projects with regional and international partners have already validated our approach, showing significant reductions in cost and time while accelerating innovation. Our long-term vision goes beyond protein engineering: we aim to build a generalizable Scientific Discovery Agent that can tackle a wide range of molecular design challenges, including small molecule discovery and hybrid molecular systems. With an interdisciplinary founding team, strong ties to Leipzig University and ScaDS.AI, and guidance from internationally recognized experts like Prof. Jens Meiler, AIDT combines scientific excellence with market-driven product development. Our mission is clear: to democratize access to cutting-edge AI in life sciences and establish Europe’s first transparent, scalable platform for AI-driven protein design.
